Sawantwadi
Sawantwadi known as heritage city due to its old wada type house & the palace . It is famous for wooden toys, handicraft of Bamboo, clay, wood & engraving on the horns of wild buffalo. Ganjifa cards are made here & they are very famous & popular.
Moti Talao : Moti Talao is surrounded by green hills all around, this place is very beartiful. You can enjoy boating here.
Famous gardens at Sawantwadi are Jagannath Bhosale & Narendra Van Udyan.
Shilpagram : Tourists can enjoy the handicrafts & cultural programmes here.
Amboli : Amboli is 30 km from Sawantwadi. It was declared as a hill station in 1880 by the Briitsh Govt. It is the wetterst place in Maharashtra. It is a thick forests. Tigers dwell in this forest . It is a classic holiday destination. It is a ecofriendly hill station. There are numerous view points, you can enjoy in Amboli. In the rainy season, the special tourist - attraction is countless streams of milky waters falling from the hills. The bird watchers, wild animal watchers & botany students come here to study the forest life.
Nangartas waterfall : Waterfall is 12 Km from Amboli. The sound of falling water into the cavity of the rock is a special tourist attraction. Walk cautiously & stand only on the erected platform for viewers & then only start enjoying the fun of the waterfall
Hiranyakeshi : It is a starting point of the river Hiranyakeshi. It is 10 Km from Amboli Belgaum road. It starts in a cave, where there is a temple of Goddess Parvati. Lord Shiva created a Jalganga for her & it is known as Hranyakeshi. There is a Dharmashala near the temple. You can see, many wild animals in the forest nearby. It is a evergreen forest. You can enjoy the flora & fauna in the forest

Banda : 12 Km from Sawantwadi is famous for coconut, Kaju . It is famous for two historical monuments Known as Bail Ghumat & Rede Ghumat . Local tourists enjoy visiting Talka Udyan at Banda.
Mahadeogad fort now known as Amboli point. You have to go through deep dark forest, high hills & deep valleys to this fort. You will enjoy strong wind here. You will be wonderstuck by the natural beauty all around. It is built by Khem Sawant of Sawantwadi.

Kawalesat : This is the point of Amboli from where you can see the beautiful range of high hills, thick forest & the most beautiful, sunset. Here you make a noise, you will get the reply- 7 times. Due to this nature's echo system - it got this name.
